Steloy has been producing sand castings since 1984. Utilizing the no-bake method, casting configurations include large tube sheets, furnace supports, pressure components, clevis hangers and pins. The pattern makers create wood patterns from engineering prints and utilize good foundry practice to insure sound castings. The use of computer solidification modeling and adherence to ISO 9001 foundry practices insures quality in every casting.
Current capacity are castings from 2 – 5,000 lbs, tube sheets to +14 feet, furnace supports and fittings including Return bends, Wyes, Tees and Manifolds. Alloy grades extend from ASTM A608, API 560, DIN EN10295 and proprietary grade alloys.
After casting, fittings can be welded to Steloy tube segments to form long tube assemblies used in furnace coils, manifolds and reformer tubes. GTAW is used for all tube to fitting welds.
